First and foremost I present my name is Isamel Tiffosi and I am a physical trainer in love with extreme sports, who with a group of friends wanted to make an informational pot of extreme sports. This portal intends how we already said to inform and to exchange opinions with you through our extreme sports forum.

To start with the definition of extreme sports, it is all those activities or disciplines that are already in existence, but due to special circumstances or implicit particular situations such as the danger and the difficulty to carry them out, they are considered extreme.

In an article I read recently, it was found out that some scientists have determined that this passion for danger may have a physiological root; Or it is related to the levels of certain substances, such as adrenaline or certain neurotransmitters that make some people are more daring than others.

This just reiterates that there is no right or wrong age for adventure. As long as you are well, had been given a clean bill of health by your doctor, and doesn’t have a weak heart, then by all means, you can try as many adventures as you want. After all, like what they always say, YOLO (You only live once). SEIZE the moment!

Extreme Sports for Beginners

Now that you have already discovered your adventurous side, it is just understandable how you are looking for your next adventure. What would it be next? Skydiving? Heliskiing? Volcano Surfing? The list can go on and on. There are just so many activities you can try just to explore the extent of your sense of adventure. But hey, why take the most extreme activities yet? Why not try to get used to those activities that give the same thrill but are not as scary for newbies? Not only would this prepare you to the most extreme yet, but it would also allow you to enjoy the gradual increase in tension as you try more and more extreme sports. Besides, you need not go scaring yourself before you actually started.

  1. Bungee Jumping

Bungee jumping from the name itself is the act of jumping from a high stationary place with the help of an elastic cord. This cord is the one that holds the individual who actually does the jumping. The height can vary from one place to another but one of the best places to bungee jump, and also one of the first to have an organized bungee jump, is off a bridge in New Zealand.

  1. Mountain Biking

This involves a traditional bike that is customized to endure off-road biking. Usually, the roads you take while doing this activity are unpaved ones which makes the navigation a lot harder. Mountain biking does not necessarily mean that you are climbing a mountain with a bike, instead, this refers to the most of the time rocky trail which mirrors those roads that can be found when you climb.

  1. Bouldering

This is just like rock climbing but with the absence of harness. It involves the use of special shoes and unparalleled muscle strength and stamina. This can be dangerous without the combination of the latter two. As such, it is highly advisable to undergo intensive training first before engaging yourself in such a sport.  



  1. Skydiving

This is perhaps one of the most well-known extreme sports and one of the most common choices among people who are looking for that adrenaline rush. If you want to have a feel of that “sort-of flying” then this is the best way to do it. When you skydive, you are actually jumping out of a plane from several feet above the ground. You do have a parachute to caution your landing but even then, a lot of things can go wrong while you are trying to land. Your first tries would be under the supervision of experts. It is even possible that they are going to direct your land.  


There is a thrill in engaging in extreme sports. But utmost caution and training are required before actually participating in it. The lack of thereof could cause injuries and fatalities.
